High on life, and chocolates ...
Our little outing to the National Musuem of Singapore was joined by a lot of new friends who joined us on a wonderful enriching Saturday as we went on to see dead people, after dead people, after..well almost dying, but still alive and kicking people.
Our original plan was to head to NMS and visit the Quest for immortality exhibit, but we spotted an irresistible deal that will last till the end of April. For $20 ( $10.50 if you pay by mastercards ), an adult get to enjoy the main exhibit + living gallery + the Singapore History Gallery which was highly recommended. Students go in for free and NSF pay a mere $10 for all three exhibits.
Frankly, the Quest for immortality exhibit was a let down, but the Singapore History Gallery, made up for everything. It was a multi sensory, multimedia experience that promises to entertain both adults and kids.
Everyone was handed a "Companion" a huge version of a PMP (Personal Media Player) and you punch in corresponding cods at respective stations to hear an audio commentary followed by an in depth look at the interesting events or people living in that time. Very interesting, and we all left the gallery, saying we will be back. Anyone up for another round of brain washing ?? PAP... PAP... PAP...
Oh and we ended on a high note at Max Brenner, where we got high on chocolate !!!!
