Oh my goodness, another new year has began ! Time files when you're having so much fun.

Lets put your hands together and give a warm welcome to Vincent Oh, our new program coordinator. He came on board on the 1st of Feburary and will be working along side Aaren and assisting me with event & outreach :) This week, a quick update of how Medifund would benefit PLWHAs, Fridae's new Community Development funds and your last chance to get a free testing.

We had to skip a few weeks as Donovan and Myself was on a study trip at ACON ( AIDS Council Of N.S.W ), in Sydney. We have learnt a great deal from the kind people in a 4 days intensive knowledge sharing session. I'm in love with their structure, that allows everyone the maximum potential to concentrate on what they are doing.

Medifunds extends to HIV Treatment

Here's an update of what it means & who stands to benefit from it.

• For lowest bracket income
• Allocated through hospital & assigned medical social worker
• Only when patients are unable to afford medical bills despite subsidies, Medisave and MediShield
• Only for cost incurred at Medifund-accredited institutions (e.g state hospital)
• On a per-bill basis
• Only for Singapore citizens

We will bring our clinic's free anonymous HIV Testing to you at your favourite hangout. 60 Mins project is coming to and end. Our last two venues are scheduled this coming Friday, 26/02/2010 at the following locations.

This test is available to MSM clients only and is totally anonymous. No names will be recorded, no particulars are required.
